JANUARY 2024 Shipping Update
Attention Valued Customers,
We hope this message finds you well and having a successful start to the new year. We wanted to take a moment to inform you of an important update regarding our shipping policies. Starting from January 1, 2024, a $250 surcharge will be added to freight destined for the Mountain and Pacific time zones.
We understand that this surcharge may come as a surprise, and we want to provide you with some context for this decision. As you may be aware, there was a substantial increase in shipping fees across the industry in 2023. This surge in costs impacted our operations significantly, making it challenging for us to maintain our current rates without jeopardizing the quality of our services.
After careful deliberation, we have decided to implement this surcharge in order to alleviate the financial strain caused by the increased shipping fees. While it was not an easy decision to make, we believe it is necessary to ensure that we can continue providing you with the level of service and craftsmanship that you have come to expect from Knotty WoodCraft.
Please note that this surcharge will apply exclusively to shipments bound for the Mountain and Pacific time zones. We have carefully assessed our shipping data and determined that these regions experience higher costs compared to other areas. By implementing this surcharge, we can distribute the increased expenses more equitably while minimizing the impact on our valued customers located in other time zones.
We understand that additional charges can be burdensome, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we assure you that this surcharge is not a reflection of our commitment to customer satisfaction. It is solely a means for us to navigate the challenging landscape created by rising shipping fees and maintain the exceptional quality of our products and services.
Rest assured that we are continually exploring ways to optimize our operations and minimize costs without compromising on the quality of our products. We remain committed to delivering unparalleled craftsmanship and a seamless customer experience.
If you have any further inquiries or concerns about this shipping update, please do not hesitate to contact our customer support team. We are here to assist you and provide any additional information you may require.
Thank you for your continued trust and support. We value your business and look forward to serving you for all your woodworking needs.
Warm regards,
Jason

FAQ
How much is shipping?
Shipping is worked into the price so keep this in mind when shopping around. I’m able to get competitive rates having shipped many doors all over the country over the years.
How do you ship these doors?
Doors are shipped LTL freight, residential class, with liftgate service.
I utilize several freight brokers to ensure affordable costs for myself, but also I only use carriers with adequate liability limits this way everyone’s interest is covered in the event of damage or a loss.
Doors are crated here at the shop using 2x4s and 7/16 OSB. I utilize foam inside the crates for protection, and place a thick moving blanket over each door in the case something falls into it while opening the crate on delivery. They’re placed on skids and when completed taken to carrier terminal to begin its journey.
*Inside delivery is available for a fee. See pricing chart for current price.
What is your return policy?
Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of ordering.
Please understand; due to the nature of Custom work returns or exchanges are not accepted.
